Put on your favorite lace up shoes and you’re ready for adventures!
Sometimes underestimated, lace up shoes are really comfortable and suitable for every day. Yes, unlike the slip-ons, the laces take some more time to tie them up but your foot stays stable in the shoe afterwards and you can walk with confidence. Actually, laces are really trendy now and come in a variety of colors and textures.

What we don’t know about shoes and shoelaces history?
Shoelaces were used to secure shoes. In fact, they may be as old as shoes themselves. Archaeologists believe that during late Neolithic and Bronze Age periods cavemen and women used specific shoelace designs to distinguish one tribe from another.
Throughout history, shoes and laces evolved a lot. Cavemen, Ancient Romans and Greeks gave us great prototypes of the different shoe styles. But it was not until 16th century that shoes started to look more like their modern versions.
In Scotland and Ireland men were trying to replace the slow-draining shoes and so the Brogue shoe was born. It was more practical for rainy weather because the perforations let the shoes dry quicker. What characterizes this style are the low heel and multiple-piece leather uppers with decorative perforations (or “broguing” from which comes the name of the shoes). Brogues have four closure styles – Oxford, Derby, Ghillie and Monk. 4 new styles for men and women to adore!
